Nina Chiodin is an Italian music artist, songwriter, and producer dedicated to translating raw emotion into sound. Raised in a home where jazz standards echoed from her father's piano, she began her musical journey at just five years old. This early connection to music sparked a lifelong dedication that blends the soul of her influences with a sound all her own.
Her style spans across neo-soul, RnB, and hip hop, with each song crafted to serve the message at its core. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists such as Nina Simone, Erykah Badu, Little Simz, and Mac Miller, she isn’t afraid to weave political commentary into her lyrics, tackling the challenges and injustices of contemporary society and sparking conversations about important social issues.
With a Bachelor's degree in Professional Musicianship (Vocals) and a Master’s in Creative Music Production, she has established herself as a multifaceted artist. Her music releases, her performances at venues like Sofar Sounds, and her music video for "MORE," which was screened at the Berlin Music Video Awards, have garnered her recognition on various editorial Spotify playlists, as well as attention from press.
Her upcoming self-produced EP, Paris, set for release in February 2025, delves into the intricacies of fear of commitment and toxic patterns while navigating love. Following that, in May 2025, her EP Woman will confront themes of body image, gendered violence, and female sexuality.
In both her artistry and identity, she is fiercely honest—offering listeners a space where they can feel seen, heard, and understood.
